Exceptional vintage. Only five bottles left. Second historical vintage of Brunello di Montalcino produced by Ferruccio Biondi Santi who confirmed the intuition of the vinification of the 1888 vintage. The cork has been substituted in 1927, in March 1970 and in September 1985.
There is a small amount of insoluble coloured semi crystalline sediments. Only grapes that come from the Estate vineyards are vinified.
The bottles should be placed vertically at least one week before serving, so that the coloured sediment drops to the bottom. Uncork and pour out a bit of wine from the bottles at least 8 hours before serving. To pour the wine slope the bottle with an adequate basket.
